Synopsis

  1. Warm up: free-write for at least two minutes but no longer than ten.
  2. Plan ahead: Writing will come easier if you have at least a rough plan for each session. (Planning counts toward your daily targets!)
  3. Just write: don’t edit, don’t revise, just add words to the page.
  4. Revise later: make time for editing and revising your words later. Your first priority is to write.
